Celox 5' Z- Fold Rapid Gauze

Celox Z-Fold Gauze Dressings are specially folded for ease of use and fast application to the wound site to reduce blood loss. The Hemostatic Gauze is intended to stop bleeding with 3 minutes compression due to the Celox Granules bonded to the gauze.

Celox Granules are made from chitosan. Chitosan is a non-allergenic, highly purified polymer derived from shellfish. Chitosan has been tested to be safe for people with shellfish allergies. The Hemostatic Granules function in the presence ofanticoagulation medications such as Coumadin, Warfarin, Heparin, Plavix or Pradaxa. As the Celox Blood Clotting Agent functions independently of the body's clotting factors, it is effective for hemophiliacs and hypothermic blood. Celox Hemostatic Products do not generate heat and will not inhibit wound healing.

Celox Z-Fold Rapid Trauma Gauze contains 9g of chitosan bonded to a higher density gauze to provide a greater volume of wound packing material with a shorter application time.
